Founded in the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts in March 2008, the museum is a community resource that has brought world-class art exhibitions to the Northwest Houston community. The museum offers a variety of art education opportunities to students of all ages, including summer camps, educational programs, and art exhibitions. The museum is also a partner with the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center and the Barbara Bush Branch Library for educational programs. Come and visit this amazing museum at 6815 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379.

The art museum program focuses on engaging students and working with them to tell their story. They acquire works of art for the collection and work with students to develop new pieces. During the 2017-18 school year, the museum acquired ten works of art. Some of the artwork on display focuses on the fall of Communism and Israeli occupation of Palestine.

The museum also has a collection of art from the early 20th century, including paintings by Georgia O’Keeffe, Frederic Church, and Thomas Cole. Other works of art in the collection include African art, especially from the Yoruba people of Western Sudan. Other collections include artwork from the Guinea Coast, the Equatorial Forest, and the Southern Savanna.

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday. During the summer, they offer a weeklong art camp. The museum also provides a variety of programs and events for kids, including art activities, Drop-In Art Wednesdays, and Wild Art Wednesdays. These programs are designed to encourage children to explore art and encourage families to visit the museum.
